It's Friday and it's the best day of the week.

I called the payroll team for work to ask about maternity leave, she did'nt know and gave me the number to another, my bosses wife, also the accounts manager contacted someone else adn we just didn't get any answers. Finally I got a number to a lady who deals with these questions and she was kind of rude.. "What do you want to know?" "Well, I don't know if you have paid leave or not, that depends on your disability plan you know, and I don't know individual cases, you would have to contact your HR person for that, I deal with different type of issues".  I told her we don't have a plan like that, we are less than 30 people, I am the first to have a baby so no policies or such is established.

She told me to file a form in August and we would take it from there. I do have paid time off she said, 6 or 8 weeks, and 12 unpaid weeks, but she didn't know more. Hmm...
