The Swedish Royal Court has announced Her Royal Highness Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, is engaged to marry LL.M. Jonas Bergström.
The Royal Twist reports King Carl XVI Gustaf has given his consent to the couple’s marriage.
After the Swedish government held a short extra cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt said: "I want to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Princess Madeleine and Jonas Bergström".
